Religious education
All children are taught Religious Education. They learn about Christianityand other major world faiths.
Each child takes part in a daily act of worship, which is mainly of a Christian character, but is not distinctive of any particular Christian denomination.
Parents have the right to withdraw their child from Religious Education lessons or Collective Worship after informing the Headteacher by letter.
Parents who wish to see a copy of the Stockport L.E.A. Agreed Syllabus for Religious Education should contact the Headteacher at school. Copies for parents personal use may be obtained from the Education Division, Stopford House, Stockport.
